A: Many other MSP’s utilize block time and when that time runs out each month, additional billing applies. Outsource IT provides unlimited remote & help desk services for a single monthly flat fee for any location. Onsite services are also unlimited within a 50km radius of our headquarters in Waterloo, ON.
Q: Do you provide managed IT services in a hybrid model or is it all-or-nothing?
A: Yes. We also provide a hybrid model to any degree as long as we have access to all items needing support.
Q: Are there onboarding fees for Managed IT Services?
Q: Is monitoring performed in a 24x7 fashion?
A: Yes – there are systems in place to trigger monitoring activities 24×7.
Q: Are technicians available 24x7?
A: Remote services are available 24×7 by calling our main line. A live person will answer the call and request basic details. If required, an onsite will be dispatched. Onsite 24×7 is available anywhere. (FYI – we can supply 24×7 onsite services anywhere however if it’s outside our 50km range, it has to be pre-established and additional fees may apply.)
Q: Is 24x7 handled by an additional 3rd party or internal staff?
A: Many 24×7 MSP’s use overseas resources to provide support. However, satisfaction levels on this model is very low. Our 24×7 is handled by a rotating internal staff. No 3rd parties (or overseas) is used.
