About The Role

Outsource IT is currently accepting applications for the Systems Administrator / Projects Manager role.  The hours of work are Monday to Friday; between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm, with the potential of participating in our on-call rotation up to one week per month.

The Systems Administrator / Projects Manager is to perform client system upkeep duties, handle escalated break-fix, participate in projects & monitoring services and higher level system configurations.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform higher level technical services remotely and occasionally onsite for company clients including configurations, deployments, maintenance and break-fix
  • Perform technical leadership in priority service tickets
  • Perform in-house¬†IT¬†physical service work as required
  • Perform Variable Roles (as designated)
  • Follow and maintain personal service schedule
  • Research best possible fix procedures as required utilizing industry tools and resources
  • Escalate problem items prior to exceeding time scheduled
  • Attend and participate in scheduled company training sessions and meetings
  • Attend and participate in scheduled regular performance review meetings with the Service Manager
  • Attend and participate in Variable Role team meetings (as designated)
  • Aware¬†of all¬†Outsource IT¬†sales and service offerings
  • Ensure technical Best Practices are¬†applied to all service efforts
  • Be available for after hours support in critical situations when necessary
  • Follow work flow plans and policies as described in company process¬†documentation
  • Maintain a minimum of technical certifications required for the position and duties
  • Ensure that services are performed as outlined but predetermined SLA's and schedule
  • Handle escalated customer care items as required
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and respect for all staff, clients and company
  • Provide feedback to¬†management team members related to improved general business practices
  • Provide exceptional¬†end-to-end support services to all Outsource IT clients
  • Reports to Service Manager

Variable Roles and Responsibilities As Assigned:

  • Assist in the development and deployment of client projects
  • Monitor and maintain all¬†managed services clients
  • Perform on-call services within the 24x7 team (occasional)
  • Perform Quality Control activities
  • Undertake HR activities as requested
  • Perform and be responsible for other "Champion" duties as assigned as per company process and policies documentation
  • Operate as Project Manager for assigned projects

Reporting Requirements

  • Perform specific task reporting as required by the Service Manager
