2017 Varnex Spirit Award Awarded to Outsource IT
This month, Outsource IT attended the Varnex International IT Conference in San Diego. Outsource IT regularly attends Varnex conferences to gain insight into new technologies and develop service partner relationships. This year, the conference had over 700 people in attendance, including our own Chris Brooks. The community formed by Varnex provides exclusive training and service opportunities and Outsource IT is proud to be a partner within it.
Outsource IT is proud to have been awarded the 2017 Varnex Spirit Award, presented by the President and Vice-President of Synnex during the Signature Awards. This award recognizes Outsource IT for its accomplishments and contributions to the IT community and abilities in partner development on a national scale. Receiving this award is in line with our goals to continue to develop robust IT solutions on a national scale to fit the growing needs of our clients.
As stated by the Vice-President of Synnex, “The winner of the Varnex 2017 Canadian Spirit Award has been extremely involved in our community this year. Chris Brooks, who accepted the award on behalf of Outsource IT, stated, “This award represents Outsource IT for all that we are in everything that we do. It’s the dedication of our team behind us that enables us to get out there and work with exceptional communities such as Varnex. I was sincerely honored to accept the award on behalf of Outsource IT and I thank everyone at Outsource IT for towing the line making this a possibility.”
The Changing IT Landscape
The focus of the conference this year was on the changing landscape of IT technology. The shift from traditional technology to new customer requirements has been fast, and IT solutions providers have had to make immense changes very quickly to keep up.
The “DX economy”, or digitization of the economy, is something that all IT solutions providers must be prepared for as businesses move to cloud data storage, in-house data infrastructure, and more robust malware and ransomware attacks. Outsource IT prides itself on not only maintaining the new standards required by clients in their IT, but exceeding them.
